Animals are still victims of hunting with hounds.

But in their relentless and illegal pursuit of Britain’s wildlife, hunts have created another victim. It’s not just the animals who suffer, people are victims too.

Every year, hunts trespass on private land, cause havoc on roads and railway lines, worry livestock and harm domestic animals as well as cause significant public mental distress. Together, these types of behaviours are called hunt havoc, and show an endemic disregard for people, their livelihoods and communities.

A new report published by the League Against Cruel Sports shows the sheer scale of hunt havoc in communities today, and these damning statistics show there’s only one way to stop these behaviours once and for all – by strengthening the law on hunting.
