Police and Crime Commissioners: Make tackling fox hunting a priority

Hunting

During the last full hunting season, 621 cases of hunt havoc and 361 incidents of hunts being involved in suspected illegal fox hunting were recorded by the League.

Hunting with dogs has been illegal in England and Wales for almost 20 years, yet we believe not enough police resources are being allocated to tackle the issue.

The role of a Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to be the voice of the people and hold the police to account. Please write to yours today and ask them to make tackling fox hunting a priority.

Pick your police area

N.B. London, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire have mayors, instead of Police & Crime Commissioners, who have the equivalent powers.
