Greyhounds are born into a life of misery with many facing serious injuries and for some, death after racing in this inherently dangerous sport.
The Greyhound Board of Great Britain, the industry’s governing body, has provided death and injury figures for racing greyhounds every year since 2017 and they paint a bleak picture.
3,648 greyhound injuries were recorded during 2025 bringing the total of injuries up to 38,816 since 2017 when figures started being recorded. The trackside death toll since 2017 has now reached 1,518. One death is too many!
By taking this action you’re going on record making your voice heard and supporting our call to ban greyhound racing for good.
