Avian Flu is continuing to cause devastation to the wild bird population and yet hundreds of thousands of game birds are still kept in cramped cages, breeding grounds for disease, just to lay eggs for the shooting industry. Once reared, these non-native birds are released into the countryside to be shot out of the sky for so-called ‘sport’.

Please write to your MP and ask them to support our campaign for an end to the use of cages for breeding game birds by writing to the Environment Secretary and telling her that it’s time for change. It’s time for this industrial scale cruelty to end. It’s time to make England and Wales cage-free.
