IT’S TIME FOR CHANGE. IT’S TIME TO BAN GROUSE SHOOTING ON ENGLAND'S UPLANDS.
More than 100,000 people have signed the petition calling for driven grouse shooting to be banned by the UK Government. The issue will now be debated in parliament on 30 June.
Grouse moor estates cover an area of at least 550,000 acres in England - an area the size of Greater London dedicated to shooting birds out of the sky for the sick enjoyment of a select few.
It’s not just the grouse themselves who suffer for this cruel entertainment, but other wildlife that share the uplands too. Aggressive wildlife and land management techniques cause untold damage to wildlife and nature.
Please write to your MP and ask them to attend the debate and use their voice to stand up for these birds and the environment they live in.
It’s time for this cruel, ecological vandalism to end. It’s time to ban driven grouse shooting.
