End Snaring and Caged Breeding in Wales

Wales has an opportunity to become the first constituent nation in the UK to ban both snaring and the caged breeding of ‘game’ birds. You can write to your MS today to ensure this isn’t a missed opportunity to protect animals.

The natural world and the wildlife in it, are now as important as they have ever been. The pandemic has demonstrated that clearly. Use our simple tool below to write to your MS urging them to prioritise animal welfare.

You can ask your MS to write to Lesley Griffiths, Minister for Rural Affairs, North Wales and Trefnydd seeking commitments to:

- Ban the manufacture, sale, possession and use of snares in Wales.
- End the use of cages for breeding ‘game’ birds in Wales.
